This book leaves you with a desire to make necessary changes, it covers three major sectors of economic factors: being on a benefit, working , working and becoming wealthy.   I have far more confidence in how to become wealthy from reading this.

I enjoyed the book, Tracy's easy style and her willingness to share about her own life and experiences...I think this book has value for investors, mentors, and financial advisors who can then use it to guide and encourage clients.

"Oh what a fantastic writer you are, I just can't take my head out of it, You are so wise, Every thing I read, every page, it's all so true, I continually am finding I am nodding and saying out aloud YES YES,

I finished the book this morning, I just couldn't keep my head out of it last night and first thing this morning before TAFE, I especially loved all the parts where you referred to stories of your own life situations,
Your book was such easy reading and so very motivational for me at this time and stage of my life, You are such a wise woman, A big thank you for a wonderful book, I so hope there is a way to get your story out in to the main stream disadvantaged, Maybe personal awareness groups run on your basic human educational tools that are needed, But definitely to get simple laymen's terms out there to the public and to help them to be able to receive the power and knowledge to change their lives and prosper."

We were constantly juggling bills, all of which were already overdue, there were disconnection notices, court orders, sheriff officers turning up to our house, the shame was incredible!
Previously we (2 adults & 3 children) asked my mum if we can move into her spare bedroom and we rented our house out cause we were now so behind in our mortgage if we don't make a drastic change we will lose our house. Mum was great, she allowed us to not pay anything to her but just concentrate on trying to catch up on our bills. So here we were, the 5 of us in the 1 room, living with my Mum and disabled Dad who are on a pension and Mum paid for EVERYTHING! Charlie as a father and husband really felt like he let us down. We did that for 6 months which really opened our eyes to our situation.

Reading your book inspired us to take control and stop blaming our circumstances and everything else for where we found ourselves.

We joined an organisation called Christians Against Poverty who helped us create a realistic liveable budget. They also negotiated with our creditors who were of course hounding us for their money. We pay CAP a fortnightly amount and they distribute to all our creditors including utilities. We finally then began to re-gain control of our finances - which was such a empowering feeling.

Our confidence grew, we became wiser, no more credit cards (only Mastercard debit - our own money) if we can't afford to buy it cash we don't need it!
We started to save.

We started to want to know how to make money, we now started to know that money is good, it's what we do with it that makes it bad.

We started to attend all sorts of property investment seminars, wealth creation seminars and basically started to surround ourselves with positive, successful like minded people.

I auditioned for a tv game show and I was one of a few people chosen out of so many thousands in NSW to be on "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader?"
Let me tell you that I am definately not smarter than a 5th grader but richer than one! lol.....I won $25,000!!

We paid $10,000 to CAP - which they then paid out my car and other debts. The rest of the money was to help purchase equipment for my disabled father and of course we spoiled ourselves with the rest.
Charlie and I won the 2007 Christians Against Poverty Transformed Life Award. It was a great acknowledgement and confirmation for us that yes ,it was hard but we need to be really proud of ourselves for climbing out of that dark place.

Currently our family have grown - we have fostered 3 boys!!...so we have 6 kids!!
We absolutely love where we are at. We are aiming to pay down our mortgage and hopefully later on in the year be in a much better position to purchase our first investment property. It only gets better and better.

All the best
Salome
